Lithology Comments

Nov 28, 2012 (A Wilson) - The Canada vein is described as a well mineralized quartz vein, 3-5 feet wide, striking N30°E and dipping 30°SE. It lies in a greenstone schist along the contact with quartz porphyry which forms the footwall. The schist is well mineralized both above and below the vein. The Thomas Vein has a length of approximately 60m. This vein lies in an agglomerate and ranges from 3.7 to 4.6 m in width. The vein strikes N40°E and dips 85° SE. It consists of well fractured quartz with spotty mineralization.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 28, 2012 (A Wilson) - Systematic channel sampling of the Canada Vein has resulted in erratic gold values which range from trace to over 2 oz/t Au. A grab sample collected from the Canada Vein by the OGS assayed 1.41% Cu, 0.14% Pb, 0.07 oz/t Au, 0.99 oz/t Ag and trace Zn, Ni, Co. Channel sampling of the Thomas Vein produced disappointing assays. Copper values obtained from a sampling program conducted by Sudbury Contact Mines typically returned copper values >0.5% with gold values generally greater than 100 ppb and locally to 7 g/t. Highly anomalous copper-gold values were obtained from GL99-1 which intersected an altered pyroxenite near a contact with pyritic amphibolitized flows. A 0.5 m section of core assayed 1.54 g/t Au, 0.6% Cu and a 1 m section of core assayed 1.18 oz/t Au and 0.1% Cu. Further down the hole a well mineralized chloritic mafic flow assayed 0.56% Cu, 165 ppb Au over 1.5 m, 0.71% Cu, 159 ppb Au over 0.9 m and 0.42% Cu and 239 ppb Au over 0.7 m. A 4.2 m intersection of well mineralized siliceous material (possibly lean iron formation) assayed 3.21 g/t Au, 0.69% Cu and 18.71 g/t Ag.
