Lithology Comments

Nov 28, 2012 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected a sequence of sheared rhyolite and rhyolitic agglomerate that returned elevated values of copper, zinc and silver. Elevated assays were encountered in a zone of silicifed, sheared and brecciated agglomerate in DDH 8. Narrow intersections of diorite were encountered in the eastern section of the zone and a narrow peridotite dike also was intersected in the drill holes farther to the west. A narrow graphitic zone (approximately 6 ½ feet thick) was intersected near the bottom of 5 of the drill holes completed by Maralgo.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 28, 2012 (A Wilson) - Assays from diamond drilling completed by Maralgo Mines returned the following values: DDH 7 0.56% Cu, 3.63 oz/t Ag and 0.07% Zn over 15 ft; 0.22% Cu, 1.40 oz/t Ag and 3.57% Zn over 10.0 ft in DDH 8. Massive arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite and minor sphalerite was observed in zones 3 to 8 inches long in DDH-8. The graphitic zone retuned values of 0.04% Cu, 0.16% Zn and 0.06 oz/t Ag over 2.5 feet in DDH-9. Assays from the diamond drilling program completed by Falconbridge in 1994 returned Zn values ranging from 11700 ppm over 1.8 m in SY25-02, 89100 ppm Zn over 0.25 in SY26-02; 7400 ppm Cu, 6600 ppm Zn over 0.25 m in SY26-02133000 ppm Zn over 0.20 m in SY26-05 and 168000 ppm Zn over 0.15 m in SY26-05; and 252000 ppm Zn over 0.40 m in SY26-01.
