Exploration History

1906-1930: Cobalt Silver Prince Ltd. and Campbell Crawford Cobalt Silver Mining Co. Ltd. – prospecting on ENE trending veins; 2 shafts sunk; 800 ft. of workings from an adit connects with the east shaft; 1930: DD-2-1848’. 1978: Canadaka Mines Ltd. completed 13 diamond drill holes totaling 8,094 ft., and took 345 samples. 2012: Canagco Mining Corp completed prospecting on the claims. 2016: 2205730 Ontario Inc. completed ground geophysical surveys (magnetometer, VLFEM). 2023: Kuya Silver Corp. completed 7 diamond drill holes totaling 2,334m.

Aug 02, 2017 (A Wilson) - Except for a small area in the southeast corner of vertically dipping, well bedded Keewatin sediments, the surface bed-rock of the property is composed of Nipissing diabase of the Peterson Lake basin; thickness of the diabase is 800 ft. Near the north-east corner of the property, the northwest trending Cross Lake diabase dike (of Keeweenawan age) cuts the Nipissing diabase. The northeast trending Cyril Lake Fault crosses the property.
