Lithology Comments

Aug 02, 2017 (A Wilson) - The claim is underlain by Keewatin volcanics with chert beds, cut by Lorrain granite that dip 85ºW and by Nipissing diabase beneath the 710 ft. depth. No. 2 Shaft Vein follows a post Lorrain granite fault; the vein is arcuate, striking about NNE and dipping 70º; in part it is a quartz vein related to the granite otherwise of calcite. Shaft No. 1 Vein strikes north with steep easterly dip; on the 100 ft. level it is 12 inches to 14 inches in width. Base metal sulphides locally occur along the veins.
