Lithology Comments

Aug 23, 2017 (A Wilson) - Nipissing diabase less than 500’ thick and dipping 25º ESE overlies 100-150 ft. of Cobalt Series greywacke. The Cobalt greywacke occupies the southwest end of a northeast trending paleovalley underlain by steeply dipping Keewatin rhyolite. The Cross Lake olivine diabase dike (of Keweenawan age) 50 ft. in width strikes southeast across the claim and dips 75ºNE.
