Aug 11, 2017 (A Wilson) - In a 25-foot adit at about 600 feet S. and 350 feet W. of the NE. corner of the claim at one time designated T.20321 a calcite vein, up to a foot wide, strikes S.85ºE. and dips 15º S. Galena is contained in the vein, in places abundantly. This vein is sometimes known as the McGinley vein, after its discoverer P. McGinley, who stated to the writer that samples of nearly massive galena from the vein had yielded assay returns of 30 oz./ silver per ton.

Aug 11, 2017 (A Wilson) - The calcite vein is 1 foot wide strikes S85º, dips 15º S and contains massive galena. A silver sample returned 30 oz./t from the property. Best Assay: 1029g/t Ag. Exposure of a galena-chalcopyrite smithsonite and sphalerite mineralized calcite vein in brecciated Nipissing gabbro. At the Cumming Pits, the vein is massive recrystallized calcite with irregular pods of galena, chalcopyrite, bornite, brown to black sphalerite in bleached, chloritized Nipissing diabase. In the North Trench, a sugary calcite vein with quartz near the margins is associated with a breccia zone up to 1.3 m wide. Locally, the vein is strongly mineralized with galena, sphalerite and smithsonite. Coarse amphibole is abundant within the breccia zones. Old trenches, some containing similar style mineralization are common on the property.
