Lithology Comments

Aug 08, 2017 (A Wilson) - Cobalt Series conglomerate dipping E20º occurs in the western part of the property. The conglomerate is cut off by Nipissing diabase in the central part of the property. The Nipissing diabase dips in a general easterly direction under steeply dipping Keewatin andesite and chert that strikes north-west and faces southwest. In the Nipissing diabase, a small roll occurs east of the shaft along the Nipissing-Keewatin contact.

Mineralization Comments

Aug 08, 2017 (A Wilson) - Silver and cobalt mineralization occur on claim T.31230 but exploration to date has not outlined ore bodies. In a newspaper dipping, dated August 27, 1923, leaf silver with niccolite and cobalt minerals are reported to have been found in calcite vein, thought to be one of those referred to in this paragraph. On the shaft dump vein material with cobalt mineralization and Keewatin wall rock may be seen; presumably this material came from one of the two veins mentioned above. Assays up to 3200 g/t silver in a grab sample.
