Geology Comments

Jul 27, 2017 (A Wilson) - Steeply dipping Keewatin greywacke striking NE, is intruded by Lorrain granite in the south part of the property; along the NE striking contact, feldspar and garnet developed in the greywacke. In the northern part, Nipissing diabase dips south under the Keewatin greywacke and Lorrain granite. The Cross Lake olivine diabase dike strikes southeast across the northeast corner of the property. The Cross Lake Fault strikes NNE across the northern part of the property. A second fault strikes NNE in the southern part. Several northeast and north-northeast quartz-calcite veins occur in the southern part of the property.
