Mineralization Comments

Aug 20, 2024 (Sheree Hinz) - The property hosts two separate lenses (Zones 1 and 2) of massive copper sulphides about 40 m apart striking and plunging southeast along the contact with the Round Lake Granite Batholith. These lenses occur within the banded iron formation and contain chalcopyrite, bornite, chalcocite, with lesser amounts of sphalerite and galena. Drilling done by Northstar in 2023 found lenses of cu-rich sulphides, including massive and stringer chalcopyrite. Some notable highlights include: 3.12 % Cu over 3.6 m including 19.45 % Cu and 14.85 g/t Ag over 0.5 m in CC01-23 (Zone 1); 14.78 % Cu over 2.45 m including 21.7 % Cu, 0.27 % Pb and 17.68 g/t Ag over 1.35 m in CC03-23 (Zone 2); 5.91 % Cu over 1.5 m including 9.92 % Cu over 0.5 m in CC01-23 (Zone 3; Northstar Press Release, November 23, 2023)
