Exploration History

The property was originally staked in the early 1990's by George Tough. He completed numerous trenches and sank a 50 foot deep shaft on a wide alteration zone. In 1990 R. Hill power stripped the shaft area with follow-up mapping and sampling. A grab sample returned 0.425 opt Au. In 1991, Hill and F. Ploeger cleaned up and resampled old trenches. Propecting revealed an interesting area 300 feet east of the shaft that was stripped and sampled. Two short diamond drill holes were completed near the shaft and the new structure east of the shaft. Assays of core samples west of the shaft ranged from 0.009 to 0.064 opt Au. In 1992 Hill and Ploeger stripped and sampled an area about 200 feet west of the shaft. Assays of blasted samples ranged from 0.009 to 0.036 opt Au. Assays of the showing east of the shaft ranged from 7 ppb Au to 0.035 opt Au.
