Feb 25, 2013 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling by Tyranex in 1993 intersected a cherty-sulphide rich unit (iron formation?) which has a sulphide content of 5-20%. The unit has a gradational contact with the overlying metasediments.

Feb 25, 2013 (A Wilson) - Assays from quartz stringers in metasediments returned values of 1.93% Zn, 0.18% Cu, 0.01 oz/t Au, 0.07 oz/t Ag. Nickel values from DDH 10 drilled in 1970 returned values ranging from 0.10% - 0.12%. The drill hole completed by Hudson Bay Mines Limited returned trace Au and 3.46% Zn from a graphitic tuff horizon. The cherty sulphide horizon returned best assays of 2620 ppm Ni, 404 ppm Cu, 269 ppm Co, 86 ppm Zn over 3 feet; 1550 ppm Ni, 1260 ppm Zn, 881 ppm Cu, 148 ppm Co over3 ft and 494 ppm Ni, 16200 ppm Zn, 1320 ppm Cu, 137 ppm Co over 3 feet from DDH TP1. The same mineralized unit was also intersected by Tyranex DDH TP2 approximately 750 m to the northwest. Assays from the Novawest drilling returned values up to 1350 ppm Ni over0.5 m and Zn values up to 3.69% over 0.5 m.
