Lithology Comments

Dec 17, 2015 (D Guidon) - from Sage (1996) The pipe is estimated to be 150 m long and is north-trending. The pipe is along the eastern flank of a north-trending diabase dike. The kimberlite is hosted in wake, arkose, tuff anddiabase. The kimberlite diatreme facies consists of 15-25% xenoliths. The rock has been describe as fine to coarse breccia with pelletal textured kimberite matrix. 14 microdiamonds were recovered from abou 1/2 ton of drill core.
