Jun 12, 2024 (Nazha Sabiri) - Iron Formation consists of laminated grey chert (30%) with intermediate to mafic volcanic (70%). Volcanics are dark grey-green, massive to foliated with a grain size of 0.2-0.5 mm, and consists of feldspar with 40% actinolite. 5-10% sulphides (pyrrhotite with subordinate pyrite) disseminated in both rock types. 10%; calcite in chert layers, trace interstitial carbonate in volcanic layers (OFR5335).
