Access Description: Point Located: A point 0.90 km south and 1.80 km east of the northwest corner of Tannahill Township.
1952: W.C. Roy diamond drilled 4 holes totalling 309 feet. 1982: Amax Minerals Exploration Inc. completed magnetic and electromagnetic surveys. 1983: Canamax Resources Inc. completed magnetic and VLF electromagnetic surveys and diamond drilled 4 holes totalling 647 metres. 1985- 1986: Condaka Metals Corp. completed a VLF electromagnetic survey and diamond drilled 14 holes totalling 6,491 feet. 1995: Sheldon-Larder Mines Limited purched the property from G. Bastarache. The company completed a 5 hole 2870 foot diamond drilling program. Diamond drill hole ST953 intersected 1457/1611 ppb Au over 1 foot.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Gold is reported (assessment files, Resident Geologist's Office, Kirkland Lake) to occur within alteration zones (of unspecified type) within largely glacial drift covered (Baker et al. 1982; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) basalt of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group (Jensen 1982, 1978, 1971; Jensen and Langford 1985; Jensen and Baker 1986; Johnstone and Steele 1989). The best reported gold assays are from Condaka Metals Corp. diamond drill hole no. AC-1-85, which intersected brecciated and sericitized mafic volcanic rock which is variably silicified and carbonatized. Quartz stringers containing 10% of specularite are reported to fill fractures and dip 50-60 degrees to the core axis. The best reported assay is from a 2 foot core section which averaged 0.187 ounce of gold per ton. Pyrite content is generally 2-3%. An altered tuff containing 10-15% of pyrite was indicated in the drill logs to have been intersected. Felsic dike material is reported to have averaged 0.22 ounce of gold per ton along a 3 foot core length.
