Access Description: Point Located: A point 1.05 km south and 1.70 km west of the northeast corner of Thackeray Township.
1947: One 1,007 foot long hole was diamond drilled by N.B. Keevil on claim no. 49012. The claim was subsequently allowed to lapse (Jensen 1978).

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic grade) subaqueously deposited tholeiitic volcanic rocks of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group on the south limb of an anticline (Jensen 1982, 1978; Jensen and Baker 1986; Johnstone and Steele 1989; Baker et al. 1982; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) host at depth a 5.1 cm wide quartz stringer. The highest assay reported (assessment files, Resident Geologist's Office, Kirkland Lake) is 3.03 ounce of gold per ton across a core length of 0.2 metres from altered (of unspecified type) volcanic rock associated with this pyritic quartz veinlet.
