Lithology Comments

Jun 29, 2015 (C Salo) - The occurrence is underlain mainly by weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) mafic volcanic rocks, and interflow cherty horizons of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group which are several hundred metres, east of the eastern margin of the Garrison Stock.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 29, 2015 (A Wilson) - The best assays from the drilling on the Shunsby Property were returned from DDHG-86-1 which was drilled on claim765897 in Harker Township. An assay of 1 g/t Au was returned from a 0.4 m section of core in amplibolitized mafic metavolacnaics. Several other intersections ranging from 0.50 to 0.75 m assayed 0.75 g/t Au and 0.25 g/t Au. Similar assays were returned from DDHG-86-2. DDH-86-2 intersected a 0.6 m section of mafic metavolcanics that returned an assay of 0.50 g/t Au, 0.03 g/t Ag, 0.017% Cu, 0.022% zn and 0.005% Pb. The best gold tenors are associated with narrow pyritic zones within and marginal to quartz veins.

Jun 29, 2015 (C Salo) - Stripping and trenching in the late 1940's ins reported to have revealed several north to northeast striking shear and/or pyritic zones which are reported to have yielded assays as high as 0.83 oz/t Au. Satterly reported that a sample of well mineralized (pyritic) and silicified basalt assayed by him averaged 0.05 oz/t Au. The main mineralized is a shear striking 000 and 45 east dipping 4 foot wide zone of silicified basalt hosting quartz stringers, epidote stringers, lenses of brown garnet, and erratically distributed coarse grained pyrite.
