Access Description: Point Located: A point on the township boundary 1.92 km west of the northeast corner of Elliott Township.
1925: By this time, auriferous boulders had been located and trenching had been completed (Gledhill 1925). 1947: Good Fish Mining Co. Ltd. completed trenching and blasting. 1981: A.H. Perron completed magnetic and VLF electromagnetic surveys. 1982: A.H. Perron completed a geophysical survey. 1983: A.H. Perron completed magnetic, geochemical, and geological surveys. 1985: A.H. Perron stripped outcrop.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Geological mapping (Jensen 1982, 1978, 1971; Jensen and Langford 1985; Jensen and Baker 1986; Johnstone and Steele 1989) indicates that bedrock in the area consists mainly of weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) basalt, andesite, and dacite of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group which strike northeast, dip steeply, and face south. The boulders occur a few hundred metres south of (ie. down ice from) intercalated flow units of basalt, rhyolite, dacite, and andesite (Jensen 1982, 1978; Baker et al. 1982; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988).
