Mineralization Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - The anomalously auriferous material is hosted by variably quartz vein and stringer bearing grey to red to buff to green colored schist. Pyrite and hematite are ubiquitous, galena with associated anomalously elevated silver contents occur locally. Diamond drill by Garrison Creek Mines in the late 1940's yielded significant core lengths (ranging from 4 to 32 feet) of anomalously elevated gold tenors (ranging from 0.04 to 0.09 ounce of gold per ton) hosted by syenitic rock, lamprophyre, and carbonate with and r near the northeast striking Porcupine-Destor Fault Zone.
