Access Description: Point Located: A point 3.27 km north and 6.81 km west of the southeast corner of Garrison Township.
1941: Consolidated Mining and Smelting Co. of Canada Ltd. prospected, trenched, and diamond drilled 1 hole totalling 293 feet. 1946: Consolidated Mining and Smelting Co. of Canada completed a magnetic survey. 1962: Golden Croesus Mines Ltd. completed an electromagnetic- galvanic survey and diamond drilled 1 hole totalling 752 feet. 1980: Windjammer Power and Gas Ltd. completed geological, magnetic, and IP electric surveys. 1984: J.R. Moses diamond drilled 3 holes totalling 2,590 feet.

Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Diamond drilling in an area of extensively developed glacial drift cover (Baker et al. 1982; McClenaghan et al. 1988, 1987; Steele 1988) has intersected in mainly weakly metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies) tholeiitic basalt of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group (Satterly 1949, Jensen 1982, Jensen and Langford 1985, Jensen and Baker 1986, Johnstone and Steele 1989; Troop 1989) a chlorite-quartz-carbonate breccia containing 5-10% of fine to coarse grained pyrite as replacements in breccia fragments. The best gold assay reported (assessment files, Resident Geologist's Office, Kirkland Lake) is from a 3 foot core length which averaged 0.13 ounce of gold per ton.
