Mineralization Comments

Jan 22, 2016 (A Wilson) - Base and precious metal sulfide mineralization at Ehrhart (up to 1 .8 % Zn, 0.2% Cu, 57 opt Ag and 2 opt Au in grab samples. The mineralization occurs primarily within cm to decimetre wide, NE-SW (050º-230º) oriented shear zones (generally dip steeply to the east) where it is associated with strong to moderate sericite alteration, and grey to milky-white fine-grained quartz. Breccias along the margins of the shear zones are inferred to be tectonic in origin. CNG-90-2 collared 140m west-southwest of the Canagau shaft intersected 1.11% Pb Pb and 2.06% Zn/l.5m in "cherty breccia and altered tuff' at the contact at a depth of 80m (approx. 60m vertical depth). All the drill holes intersected anomalous Zn, Pb and occasionally Au and Ag values; the best being 4.01 % Zn/0.6m in Canagau Andesite at approx, 280m in CNG-90-1; 76 g/t Au/0.3 m in CNG-90-5, and 4.3% Zn in CNG-90-06. If the numerous amygdaloidal andesite/basalt units intersected in CNG-90-3 and -6 are equivalent to the andesitic sills and dikes observed at surface then these two holes extend the plexus of dikes and sills to the fault block between the Canagau and Ehrhart areas. Hole CAN-97-01 was collared in Canagau Andesite and ended in the same unit at a vertical depth of 960m without encountering the Canagau Rhyolite (suggests a steeply dipping contact and a hole that could be deepened?). Significant Zn mineralization within chloritized basalts and associated with "synvolcanic intrusions" were encountered along the entire length of the hole; best assays include 0.61% Zn, 23 g/t Ag over 8.45m and 0.55% Zn, 7.3 g/t Ag over 107 m at a vertical depths of approx 380 and 730m respectively. * Hole CAN-97-02 was collared in Canagau Rhyolite and ended in the same unit at a vertical depth of 622.37m. Strongly sericitized, chloritized and ankeritized rhyolite dissected by numerous amygdaloidal andesitic intrusions were encountered. Significant Zn, Cu and Ag values occur with andesite dikes, 'brecciated andesite (dikes?) and rhyolite breccia throughout the length of the hole; best assays include 0.12% Cu, 6.6 % Zn, 20.6 g/t Ag over 1.42m (at 34m) associated with an intermediate dike, and l .6% Zn, 11.7 g/t Ag over 0.23m (at 249.9m) associated with a brecciated rhyolite.
