Jul 29, 2016 (A Wilson) - Mineralization is hosted within a 9 inch wide, quartz-carbonate vein (stringers) containing disseminated pyrite and chalcopyrite. A grab sample from the stringers assayed 0.10 oz/t Au. Assays from the 2003 Newmont drilling returned best assays of 0.19 g/t Au over 1 m in pillowed metavolcanics and more typically assayed between 0.02 and 0.03 g/t Au (DDH HW03-190). A quartz vein from DDH HW03-191 assayed 0.44 g/t Au over 0.4 m of core. More typical values ranged from 0.01 g/t Au over 0.07 m and 0.08 g/t Au over 0.50 m in DDH HW03-191. Assays collected by A. Bath in 1987 returned: AB-87-107 10 ppb Au, nil Ag, 84 ppm Pb, 70 ppm Zn, 0.70% As; AB-87-108 22 ppm Cu, 36 ppm Pb, 71 ppm Zn; AB-87-109 66 ppm Cu, 127 ppm Pb, 107 ppm Zn.
