Dec 07, 2005 (C Salo) - Within the generally east striking Porcupine-Destor Fault zone, discontinuously exposed folded Algoma type iron formation is reported to occur. These ferruginous sediments Are hosted by clastic sediments and range from a few feet to more than 100 feet in thickness. Shklanka cataloged this as an iron occurrence.
