Jul 02, 2015 (C Salo) - The largely glacial drift covered intrusive contact area between massive unaltered syenite and metamorphosed (greenschist or lower metamorphic facies except marginal to felsic intrusive bodies, where amphibolite grade contact aureoles may be developed) basalt of the (Archean) Kinojevis Group is reported to be a zone of hydrothermal alteration characterized by elevated levels of potassium feldspar, quartz, carbonate, and pyrite.

Jul 02, 2015 (A Wilson) - Diamond drilling intersected massive unaltered syenite and mafic metavolcanics flows.

Jul 02, 2015 (A Wilson) - Assays from the 1988 drilling program returned 7m assaying 0.10 g/t Au over 1 m and 0.86 g/t Au over 1 m; all assays from syenite (MC-88-471); assays up to 1.89 g/t Au over 1 m between 147 and 148 m in DDH MC-88-475. The McKenna fault was intersected at the syenite-basalt contact and assays returned 1.27 g/t over 0.6 meter. Drill holes SI-97-05 and SI-97-06 tested two laterally continuous IP chargeability and resistivity anomalies to the north of the syenite plug. Both intersected moderately to strongly carbonate altered and fractured basalt with weak pyritic mineralization. Best result (4.54 g/t over 0.7 meter, SI-97-05) comes from a fault zone in carbonate altered basalt. Finally, hole SI-97-07 tested two IP trends at the northwest corner of the property. The hole intersected locally strongly altered basalt and a large syenitic dyke which returned isolated gold values between 227ppb and 450ppb. Zinc values up to 614 ppm were recovered from a 0.50 m section of core in DDH HM-97-02; Cu values up to 514 ppm were recovered from a 0.50 m section of core in DDH SI 97-03, Zn values up to 3752 ppm over 0.6m in DDH SI-97-05.
Jul 02, 2015 (C Salo) - Anomalous gold tenors in the area are reported to be directly correlated with pyrite content, with the highest gold assays associated with a fracture zone in the contact area which has been filled with quartz, hematite, graphite, and sphalerite. The basalt country rock marginal to the syenitic intrusive is foliated at 45 degrees to the core axis. The best reported assay from the area is from a 2.7 foot long core length which averaged 0.035 oz/t Au; wihin a zone that averaged 0.25 oz/t Au over 27.5 ( DDH SH-85-1) .
