Mineralization Comments

Aug 21, 2013 (D Guidon) - Oxide iron formation averages 50 m in width and contains local concentrations of up to 50% magnetite. Bands of fine-grained magnetite alternate with layers of recrystallized chert, mica and amphibolite up to 1 cm thick. Black (1957 in KL-2719) estimated 40 000 tons of ore per vertical foot in an area 2400 by 200 feet.
