1958 to 1984: Several companies worked in the Burntbush River area exploring for base metals. Most of these programs involved airborne geophysical surveys, with ground geophysics over selected electromagnetic anomalies followed by diamond drilling. The following companies drilled EM conductors which are located within the boundaries of the Burntbush River Property. Conwest (1958) - 6 holes, Noranda (1976) - 1 hole, Geophysical Engineering (1976) - 2 holes, Dome (1982) - 2 holes. 1984: Golden Shield Resources Ltd. and Ameritex Resources Ltd. carried out airborne geophysical surveys including EM, magnetometer, and VLF-EM. 1986: Ameritex Resources Ltd. and Cogema Canada Ltd. carried out geological mapping, geochemistry, microscope studies, and overburden stripping. 1987: Cogema Canada Ltd. Carried out airborne geophysics including EM, resistivity, and magnetometer (1,148 line Km), geological mapping, geochemistry and microscope studies. 1988: Cogema Canada Ltd. Carried out airborne geophysics including EM, VLF-EM, and magnetometer (460 line km), geological mapping and sampling, geochemistry, and microscope studies. 1990: Cogema Canada Ltd. carried out 2 diamond drill holes totaling 518m, microscope studies and geochemistry. 1991-1992: Cogema Canada Ltd. carried out ground geophysical surveys including EM, magnetometer, IP, and VLF-EM. 1998: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. carried out 10 diamond drill holes totaling 2,763m, and geochemistry. 2006-2007: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. carried out 7 diamond drill holes totaling 1,435m, geochemistry, and an IP ground geophysical survey. 2008: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. completed 7 diamond drill holes totaling 1,067m, geochemistry, line-cutting, and a ground geophysical IP survey. 2013-2015: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. carried out geological mapping, sampling, and bedrock trenching. 2014-2015: Tri Origin Exploration Ltd. carried out geochemical sampling and assaying.

Sep 24, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - The area is underlain by a mixed assemblage of east-west trending felsic, intermediate, and mafic volcanic, pyroclastic, and volcaniclastic rocks, with minor sedimentary units (greywacke, argillite, and banded magnetite silica iron formation). These units are intruded by a coarse-grained to porphyritic granite to granodiorite known as the Spade Lake porphyry. The intrusions are likely comprised of discontinuous dykes, sills, or small plugs, rather than a single stock or pluton.

Sep 24, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - Gold mineralization is associated with pyrite in quartz/iron carbonate/feldspar veins stratabound within magnetite-rich dacitic to rhyodacitic and occasionally andesitic to basaltic volcanic rocks and pyritic schists. Mineralization occurs in at least two discrete east-west trending zones. On the north side of Spade Lake, the “Spade Lake Gold Zone” has been intersected by numerous diamond drill holes between 1988 and 2008, delineating a moderate to steeply north-dipping mineralized zone. Assays from diamond drill core have returned up to 19.6 g/t Au.
