Access Description: Access to the property is by fixed wing aircraft from Cochrane, or by all terrain vehicle from the Detour Lake Mine site. Detour Lake Mine is accessible by an all-season road from Cochrane.

1959-60: Conwest Exploration Co. - ground geophysics, 2 ddh (609 ft) near lake. 1975: Amoco Canada Petroleum Co. Ltd. - 1 ddh (609 ft). 1981-83: Getty Canadian Metals Ltd. - airborne geophysics, 1 ddh (200 ft).

Lithology Comments

Dec 29, 2010 (D Draper) - The initial Amoco hole returned low gold values from the last unit intersected, a dacitic to rhyodacitic tuff with cherty zones. Getty's hole encountered Cu values in a unit of recrystallized mafic volcanic.

Mineralization Comments

Dec 29, 2010 (D Draper) - Amoco hole 1-1 returned an assay of 0.01 opt Au from a unit of tuff with cherty sections mineralized with epidote, garnet, pyrrhotite and pyrite. The best base metal assays returned were 0.021% Cu and 0.09% Zn over 4 ft, also in a cherty tuff. (T-1689) Getty hole DL-83-19, collared approx 335m north of 1-1, assayed 2600ppm Cu over 0.1m.
