Lithology Comments

Dec 07, 2005 (A Wilson) - Narrow, gold-bearing quartz and quartz-carbonate veinlets are hosted by sheard chloritie greenstone. The stratigraphic section also includes felsic dikes, pillowed and mafic metavolcanics. Some narrow gabbroic intrusions are also found near surface.

Mineralization Comments

Nov 16, 2011 (A Wilson) - Elevated gold values are found throughout the drill holes. Values range from <0.005 g/t au to 3.3 g/t Au in samples up to 90 cm in length. The gold zones occur in a variety of structural settings and several rock types including massive to pillowed tholeiitic flows, variably deformed-altered basaltic to peridotitic komatiite units, cherty tuffs, gabbro and a variety of early deformed rhyolite to dacite dikes. Most of the larger gold zones are subparallel to concordant with the stratigraphy (contact related), smaller quartz and potassic veins occur along splays. There are multiple gold zones on the property. The two zones that have been the main focus of exploration on this property are the QK Zone and the M Zone
