Dec 07, 2005 (J Stewart) - The quarry exposese a 50+ m section of the Middle Devonian Detroit River Group. The lower part of the quarry is represented by cherty, banded, fossiliferous limestone of the Amherstburg Formation. Bioclastic and microcrystalline limestone of the Lucas Formation overlies this unit.
