Access Description: Located 1km west of Rockton in the Beverly Township, Wentworth County in the Municipality of Town of Flamborough, Regional Municipality of Hamilton-Wentworth.
The quarry was opened in the early 1900's to provide crushed stone for local road construction and is presently owned by the Township of Flamborough.

Dec 07, 2005 (M Barua) - 3.9 m brown dolostone of Middle Silurian Guelph Formation, fine crystalline with porous interval, some of which are lens-shaped, thin-bedded, are exposed above the water level at this quarry .Goudge(1938) reported heaving of the quarry floor which could not be confirmed during a 1986 visit due to submergence by water. Vos (1969) noted presence of fossil cavities and worm borings filled with calcite in the lower beds.
