Mar 05, 2009 (A Wilson) - The gneisses are grey layered quartzofeldspathic gneisses of the Sand Bay Gneiss Association, Shawanaga Domain. The pegmatite was reportedly 3 feet in width

Mineralization Comments

Mar 05, 2009 (A Wilson) - de Schmid described the occurrence as mottled muscovite in sheets up to 8 inches. Large crystals reportedly weighed up to 500 lbs. Only 20% of the material was merchantable. Between 2 and 3 tons of material was marketed. The workings are described as a 30 foot long open cut, 7 ft in width and 25 ft deep.
