Lithology Comments

Jun 12, 2009 (A Wilson) - Several small pits were opened along an outcrop of pegmatite exposed for about 1000 feet. The largest opening was reportedly 50 by 25 by 10 feet deep. No shipments were reported from this dike. The rocks have been mapped as layered, migmatitic orthogneisses of tonalitic to granodioritic composition.




Mineralization Comments

Jan 10, 2013 (A Wilson) - The dike consists of fine spar with local zones of white soda spar. Some black mica and magnetite also were noted. Several small pits were opened along an outcrop of pegmatite exposed for about 1000 feet, the largest opening measuring 50 by 25 by 10 feet deep. The dyke consists of pink spar, with local zones of white soda spar, and carries some black mica and magnetite. No shipments have ever been made from the property.
