Nov 18, 2008 (A Wilson) - The pegmatite dike strikes N30°E and has a moderate dip of 30°NW. There appears to be a hanging wall zone 3 to 6 feet thick composed of coarsely crystalline alkali feldspar, sodic plagioclase, quartz and muscovite. Below this there are indications of a core zone of barren quartz. Total thickness is probably about 10-12 feet. The muscovite consists of well-formed books about 3-10 inches in diameter.
