Access Description: The property is accessible from Sudbury by travelling south on highway 69 for 53 km to the highway 64 turn off. Turn left onto highway 64 and travel 8.4 km through the town of Alban and turn left on Montée Boisevenue Rd. Travl on this gravel road for 1.5 km to the quarry site.
1955: C. A. Fielding - DD-19. 1989: C. A. Fielding - DD-2. 1990-present?: seasonal quarrying (crushing, washing, screening) for smelter flux for Vale INCO smelter in Copper Cliff. Some crushing and screening of limited roadbed material and other on-demand uses.

Jan 13, 2009 (A Wilson) - The quartzite is medium- to coarse-grained and recrystallized with a granular texture. The colour is gighly variable ranging from glassy grey to purplish grey to brick-red. The quartzite varies from massive to thinly banded.
