Jan 13, 2009 (A Wilson) - The ferruigous gneiss forms a complexly contorted layer, up to 100 m across and about 200 m long, on the southern side of a hill just north of the road junction on the northeastern side of Rangers Bay. The unit strikes northwest and dips about 70° NE. A few, thin biotite-rich meta-argillite layers are intercalated with the gneiss.
