Lithology Comments

Sep 24, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - Gowganda Formation quartzite and Nipissing Diabase are the host rocks of the Bousquet vein system. The Rivers or Main Vein follows the south contact between a Nipissing Diabase sill and the quartzite. It strikes almost due east with a near vertical dip.

Mineralization Comments

Sep 24, 2019 (Sheree Hinz) - The vein consists mainly of quartz, with arsenopyrite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, and visible gold mineralization. Siderite, ankerite, and calcite are abundant in some sections. An ore shoot on the Main Vein had a width of 1.3 to 2.5 feet and a length ranging from 384 feet on surface to 344 feet on the 300-foot level. Immediately below the 300-foot level, the Main Vein reportedly ranged from 0.34 to 0.55 ounce of Au per ton over widths of 2.8 feet.
