Aug 10, 2009 (A Wilson) - The occurrence is described as highly weathered mineralized quartz veins in silicified Serpent Formation sandstone. The quartzites are described as being sheared, brecciated and silicified

Mineralization Comments

Aug 10, 2009 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by Canadian Nickel Company returned values of up to 1210 ppb Au, 1480 ppm Cu, 0.006% Pb. The sulphides, present in amounts up to 15% are mainly pyrrhotite with minor pyrite and chalcopyrite. Grab samples with values up to 0.035 ounces per ton gold also are reported from the area.
