Mineralization Comments

Aug 10, 2010 (A Wilson) - Chip samples collected by Cerro Mining Corporation returned the following representative values: W - tr to 0.38%, MoS2 - tr to 0.27%, Bi - tr to 0.11%, Cu, - 0.01 to 0.29%, Ag - tr to 0.36 oz/t, Sn - tr to 0.01% and Zn - nil to 0.18%. Assays of selected, relatively high-grade material taken by the OGS in 1976 yielded 1.81% Zn; 0.39% WO3, 0.06% Cu and tr Au; 0.20% WO3, 0.06% Cu. Disseminated tungsten and sulphide mineralization occurs erratically over an area approximately 430 m wide and 1500 m long on the faulted north limb of the St. Leonard anticline. Detailed mapping by Texas Gulf Sulphur identified 6 en echelon zones of mineralization which trend northeastward along the strike of the metasediments. These zones range in width from a few cm to 9 m and in length from 370 to 760 m. Mineralization occurs as disseminated grains in the highly altered metasediments and in quartz veins; although small pods containing up to 20% sulphides occur locally. Distribution of the mineralization is very erratic.
