Exploration History

1966-69: East Bay Gold Mines Ltd. and Monteagle Minerals completed a radiometric survey, trenching, and 13 diamond drill holes. 1973-75: E. Rose carried out a radiometric survey and mapping. 1976: Kerr Addison Mines Ltd. completed a radon gas survey. 1977: Consolidated Morrison Exploration completed 7 diamond drill holes totaling 4,709 ft.

Oct 25, 2010 (A Wilson) - The uraniferous conglomerate consists of well packed quartz-pebbles, commonly less than one inch in diameter within a dark grey quartzite matrix. A yellowish, poorly sorted quartzite is associated with the quartz-pebble conglomerate.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 25, 2010 (A Wilson) - A 5.5 foot intersection of core from East Bay Gold DDH EB-3 returned 1.08 lbs/t U3O8 and 1.34 lbs/t ThO2. Drill hole EB-1 retuned 0.6 lbs U3O8 and 3.0 lbs ThO2 over 1.5 feet. Surface samples from the west showing reportedly returned 2.0 lbs/t U3O8 and 10.1 lbs/t ThO2 over 6 inches.
