Access Description: Starting on highway 17 at junction of highway 6 (Espanola turnoff) highway 17 drive east 1.8km to Mckerrow. Turn north onto Sand Bay road drive 8.5km north to Agnew Lake (Sand Bay). Continue along Agnew Lake by boat 8.2km north-eastward to north side of bay.
1952-1954: Noranda Mines Ltd. carried out a ground geophysical survey (magnetometer, radiometric), mapping, and 18 diamond drill holes totaling 3,093 ft. 1974-78: Consolidated Morrison Exploration Ltd. completed mapping, and an airborne geophysical survey (radiometric, magnetometer).

Oct 25, 2010 (A Wilson) - The property is underlain by conglomerate, quartzite and greywacke intruded by dikes of gabbro, diorite and diabase. The uranium mineralization is associated with interbeds of quartz-pebble conglomerate in the quartzite.
Sep 30, 2020 (Sheree Hinz) - The area is strongly deformed and metamorphosed to the staurolite-garnet grade

Oct 25, 2010 (A Wilson) - Grab samples taken from a 12 foot long trench by Noranda Mines in 1954 returned 0.123% U3O8. The main radioactive zone returned values up to 0.062% U3O8 over 5.9 feet in conglomerate and 0.067% U3O8 over 2.9 feet in quartzite. Grab samples collected by the OGS from the Ridge Showing returned 0.83% U3O8 and 0.24% ThO2.
