Jun 27, 2016 (A Wilson) - Sulphides are present in various amounts near the norite contact. They occur in brecciated footwall metavolcanics and in norite breccia.

Mineralization Comments

Jun 27, 2016 (A Wilson) - The mineralized zone is possibly 1000 ft long and is highly irregular and discontinuous. Diamond drilling completed in the 1930’s on the property returned gold values in drill core up to $8.80 Au/ton. Platinum values up to $1.35 over 6 ft. Samples collected by J.R. Booth in 1951 returned values of 0.2% Cu and 0.54% Ni (sample 28560); 0.2% Cu, 0.17% Ni over 10 ft (sample 28561); a 30 ft long chip sample collected from a large pit assayed 0.1% Cu. Samples collected by the mining Research Corporation Limited returned nickel values ranging from 2.53 to 3.19%, nil copper and gold values up to $3.15
