Mineralization Comments

Oct 15, 2010 (A Wilson) - The best assays from Alanen DDH 1 returned 0.83%Ni and 0.38% Cu over 3 feet. Alanen (North): Chalcopyrite, pyrite, pyrrhotite and gersdorffite mineralization occurs in sheared and altered felsic gabbro phase of Nipissing-type diabase sill. A gersdorffite-rich sample assayed 8.45% Ni, 0.71% Cu, 3.15% Co, 0.7g/t Pt. Another pit No. 1 chip sample assayed 1.03% Ni, 0.67% Cu, 0.12% Co over 1.5m. A chip sample from pit No. 2 assayed 0.32% Ni, 0.54% Cu, 0.05% Co over 6m (recored by D.G. Innes 15-Jun-1976) Alanen (South): Chalcopyite, pyrite, pyrrhotite, marcasite and minor native copper mineralization occurs in Qtz veins and as disseminations, stringers and fracture fillings in sheared, silicified metagreywacke. Mineralized zone range from 1.8 to 7.5m wide and up to 70m long. Best DH intersection assayed 0.12% Ni, 0.15% Cu over 0.8m. Arsenopyrite sample assayed 0.04% Ni, 0.25% Cu, 0.3g/t Au 0.3g/t Ag across 0.9m. (recored by D.G. Innes 15-Jun-1976)
