Oct 05, 2023 (Sheree Hinz) - The mineralized zone exists as a rusty shear in metagabbro about 1,500 feet south of the Espanola fault. It was traced for a length of about 200 feet, pinching out at each end, with an average width of 12 feet. Dipping 85°S., the shear contains disseminated pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and pyrite, with a very few narrow stringers of sulphide minerals. The zone was not sampled for assay purposes. (Ginn 1965)
