Lithology Comments

Oct 18, 2010 (A Wilson) - The building stone is fine-grained, black to blue Nipissing diabase. The diabase contains random quartz veins and the jointing is variable and closely spaced. The sulphide mineralization is characterized by narrow sulphide stringers along shear planes in a weakly silicified shear in gabbro.

Mineralization Comments

Oct 18, 2010 (A Wilson) - Grab samples collected by J. Thomson (OGS) from a pit in the southern part of Lot 1 Con 1 returned 1.23% Cu, 0.06% Ni and trace gold. The mineralization occurs in narrow stringers in a silicified shear zone.
