Access Description: The Waters Sulphide 'F' Occurrence is located approximately 20 km west of Sudbury, in the northeast area of Waters Township. The area is crosscut by two east to Greater City of Sudbury Area y, in the central area of Waters Township. The area is crosscut by two east to west trending main roads: the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17) and highway 658. The occurrence is located to the west of Santala Road approximately 2.0 kilometres north of Highway 55, Naughton Station. (GDIF144)

May 05, 2009 (D Scholtz) - Stobie Formation metapelites; pillowed and massive basalt, mafic and intermediate pyroclastic rocks, wacke in the middle and upper parts. (GSC OF4570, 2005). Country rock: Huronian Metavolcanics: biotite-hornblende schist associated with quartzite. The host rock is biotite and hornblende schist.
