Access Description: Proceed north 5.3km on Regional Road #4 from its intersection with the Spanish River Road. The main part of the site is on the east side of the road.



Exploration History

1889; Ben Boyer - property discovered. 1890: Drury Nickel Company - smelter built, ore produced. 1896-97: Trill Mining and Manufacturing Company - in production; mine closed ASSAY: ORE SAMPLE 0.24% CU, 2.50% NI. Sampling conducted in 2015 OGS mapping program returned anomalous copper and nickel.

Lithology Comments

Jun 23, 2016 (A Wilson) - The mineralization occurs in a west-trending shear zone in brecciated metavolcanic rocks. Rocks including hornblende syenite, mafic schist and amphibolite. The gossan zone can be traced for 200 ft. and ranges in width from 5 to 20 ft.
