Location Method: Data Compilation

Access Description: From junction of Hwy 6 take Hwy 17 34.4 km east. From Hwy 17 follow R.R.#4 north towards Crean Hill Mine for 2.6km. At fork take Fairbanks Road east approximately 875m north. Site accessible on foot by crossing dam and walking west for approximately 185m. Site also accessible from south of quarry through private property through INCO slag dump or property owned by Mr. Minninen (1st house west of slag dump on north side of road).



Exploration History

1914: Victoria Mine - material mined for use as flux in the old Mond smelter. 1966: Falconbridge Nickel Mines Ltd. – DD-3-804 ft.
