Jun 27, 2016 (A Wilson) - Samples from these two occurrences assayed 0.62% Cu and 0.81% Ni and 1.43% combined Cu-Ni.An earlier sample assayed 0.25% Ni and 0.47% Cu over 1.37 m. The mineralization appears to be of the hydrothermal replacement type, with shearing, brecciation and a slight embayment in the south margins of the host gabbro as the main structural control. A chip sample from chalcopyrite stringers over a width of 6 feet assayed 0.28% Cu and 0.31% Ni. A surface chip sample ran 0.62% Ni and 0.81% Ni over 10 ft.
Mar 17, 2016 (L Hall) - Disseminated and stringer pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite in sheared and silicified meta-gabbro.
