Access Description: From Hwy 17 follow R.R. #4 north towards Crean Hill Mine for 2.6km. At fork, take Fairbanks Road east approximately 3.2km north (keep left at fork to Crean Hill Mine). Turn west down abandoned rail bed road. Drive west on railbed for 0.7km. Site located approximately 310m north of railbed (north of power lines).
1886-1887: Joseph Riopelle, in association with Tough and MacDonald, discovered mineralization on Lot 9, Concessions 4 and 5 in the Township of Denison; pitting, trenching.

Jun 20, 2016 (A Wilson) - There are numerous sulphide occurrences along the nickel irruptive contact in lot 9 concession 5. They are all similar, conisisting of disseminated to massive pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite in breccias along the nickel irruptive contact. The amount of sulphides rarely amount to less than 5%.
