Feb 26, 2009 (A Wilson) - The main sulphide occurrence of note is a zone extending from 9+50S, 76E to 12S, 75E. The zone appears on the eastern edge of a mixed, metagreywacke and feldspathic quartzite outcrop. Pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pyrite appear in this silicified zone as fracture fillings and disseminated blebs, up to 20%, becoming almost massive in some places. The zone strikes at about160* and the sulphides appear continuously over more than 200 feet. Width of the zone is difficult to determine as it lies on the edge of outcrop. It is probably only a couple feet wide though it may be wider. Trenches parallel to the zone have been dug, but a longtime ago, judging by their overgrown and weathered condition.
