In the 1960s, the property consisted of a group of unpatented contiguous claims. The property was acquired by Ossington Exploration Ltd. in early 1968. Prior to the Ossington acquisition, a small pit was excavated in the fall of 1967. After the takeover, ground magnetometer and E.M. surveys were completed, and some additional trenching were carried out. 1965: Ossington Exploration Ltd. - geophysical surveys, sampling 1968: Triller Exploration Ltd. - MAG & EM surveys 1969: Ossington Exploration Ltd. - 6 drill holes (1757 feet) 2014-2015: R. Stewart & B. Wright: mapping, prospecting, sampling 2021: SPC Nickel - sampling MINERALIZATION: SYNGENETIC MINERALIZATION IN NORITE, ASSAYS: 2.45% CU and 0.13% NI ON SURFACE SHOWING 0.09% CU and 0.19% NI FROM DDH.

Sep 18, 2023 (Q Unknown) - A sample from a pit contained 3% interstitial sulphides (pentlandite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite). A chip sample from a mineralized outcrop on the banks of the Sturgeon River returned 2.42% copper and 0.13% nickel over 15 feet. The best grab sample results from the same pit were 0.79% copper and 0.19% nickel.
